WOMEN’S TENNIS

The Forester women’s tennis team kicked off their spring season at the Eck Tennis Pavilion on the campus of Notre Dame where they dropped a 6-3 decision to Saint Mary’s College.

Coby Sander transferred in this semester and her impact has been immediate. She was a double winner for HU having teamed up with Grace Meyers at #3 doubles for her first win and then cruised to her second win at #5 singles in straight sets.

The match featured Dill scoring where each doubles match counts as a separate point. The loss drops HU to 3-8 on the year while the Belles improve to 2-2. Huntington heads to Michigan on Saturday to square off with Lawrence Tech.
