Final Exams & Graduation
Final exams begin Monday, April 22 and end Thursday, April 25. The final exam schedule may be found at www.huntington.edu/registrar/schedule-of-classes (or on the Office of the Registrar’s page of the website). Students who have three or more final exams (at least two of which are comprehensive finals) on the same day may petition to take an exam at a different time. Final exams are to be taken at the scheduled time unless this petition is approved. The petition is available from the Office of the Registrar’s or from the Office of Academic Affairs. Travel plans are not a basis for petitioning for a change to a final exam. Faculty are under no obligation to honor requests from students to accommodate travel plans, and travel should be scheduled after final exams are completed.
STUDENTS WHO EXPECT TO GRADUATE IN APRIL: Students must be present at Commencement exercises for the conferring of the degree unless exempted by an approved petition for absentia. Do not plan trips, weddings, or other festivities that would keep you from sharing the graduation ceremony with your classmates. Commencement will be on Saturday, April 27.
As a reminder, a time-specific ticket is required to attend each Commencement ceremony.
