Take a Class on Creativity!

Are you majoring or minoring in psychology, English/writing, education, or art/DMA? Or are you just someone interested in the psychology of creativity? Here’s a course description for an exciting new “special topics” course that we’re offering in the fall (Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-10:45 a.m.).

Psychology of Creativity examines theory and research related to creativity: What is it? How do you get it? Can you increase it? What are the personal and societal benefits to being creative? In addition to examining creativity through a number of lenses, including biology, development, intelligence, personality, environments, and cognition, students will learn to assess and develop their own creativity through projects that apply the literature to real-world problems.

Please note that this will not be a regularly scheduled course. If you’re interested, I’d recommend registering for this coming fall semester! Also, slots are limited as this is a small seminar course.
