Junior Jonathan Farinha brought home three wins from the Little State Championships over the weekend to be tabbed the Crossroads League Men’s Track Athlete of the Week. He dominated sprints, topping the field in the 100-meters (10.53), 200-meters (21.24) and 4×400-meter relay.
Farinha (Arima, Trinidad & Tobago) helped HU automatically qualify for Nationals and set a new school record with a time of 3:12.87 in the 4×400. As a team, the Foresters racked up 74 points to finish fifth out of 17 teams with Farinha accounting for 22.5 of those points.
