WOMEN’S GOLF
The Huntington women’s golf team opened the 2025 fall season on a high note, finishing third out of 12 teams at the IU East Fall Invitational over the weekend at Highland Lake Golf Club in Richmond. The Foresters turned in a 54-over-par 630, just eight strokes out of first place, after carding a 316 on Friday and following with a 314 on Saturday.
Coach Patrick Davis’ squad was led by a pair of freshmen in Magnolia Miller (154) and Aniyah Copeland (156), who both finished inside the top ten of the 68-golfer field to secure All-Tournament Team honors.
TEAM RESULTS
The host IU East Red Wolves won the event with a 622, followed by Grace (628), Huntington (630), Saint Mary-of-the-Woods (631), Trine (643), Alma (684), Hanover (687), Grace B (688), Shawnee State (727), Fisk, Defiance (748), and Earlham (767).

LOOKING FORWARD
The Foresters are back in action September 8-9 for the Pretty Lake Intercollegiate to be held at Pretty Lake Golf Club in Plymouth, Ind.
