Retirement of Dr. Ron Coffey

It is with deep appreciation that we announce the upcoming retirement of Dr. Ron Coffey, effective at the conclusion of the 2025-2026 academic year. Dr. Coffey currently serves as vice president for student life and has been a pillar of the Huntington University community for generations of Foresters. We are profoundly grateful for Dr. Coffey’s many contributions and the impact he has made across generations. Please join us in celebrating his remarkable career and in praying for him and his family as they enter this new chapter.

Dr. Coffey (1981) has faithfully served in numerous roles across student life. Throughout his tenure, he has provided steady leadership, compassionate guidance, and Christ-centered mentorship to countless students and colleagues. His legacy is one of integrity, servant leadership, and unwavering commitment to the mission of Huntington University.

As we prepare for this transition, a search committee will be formed this fall and a national search will be launched to identify Dr. Coffey’s successor. Details regarding a celebration in his honor will be shared later this academic year.
