Campus Disc Golf Etiquette
The current school year has been blessed with beautiful weather, and we’ve seen more students playing our course than ever before. What a privilege to literally have a course in our “back yard.” That said, while we tried to redesign the course to avoid hitting most buildings, we have been getting more reports of dorm windows (apologies to the Roush girls, we’re trying to think of ways to reduce this), and the library atrium windows being hit with discs, as well as more discs on roofs. We understand that errant throws happen, but for everyone’s safety, we also want to remind golfers to only play the course as designed. Please don’t throw a “safari layout,” chuck discs toward the next tee pad or down the mall, play old basket locations, etc.
Thank you so much for playing our disc golf course! A lot of time and effort has gone into it over the last couple years and it has truly been a blessing to see how much it is being enjoyed. Oh, and keep an eye on the Coffey Break for an announcement between the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, as there may be an opportunity to get some free discs coming!
