MEN’S BASKETBALL
For the second straight week, Huntington University senior forward Kaden Johnson has been named the Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, as announced earlier today by the league office.
Johnson continued his dominant stretch with another standout performance on Saturday, powering the #RV Foresters to an 88-80 road win over Cornerstone. The 6-11 senior showcased his efficiency once again, pouring in 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting while adding 11 rebounds, three assists and a block to secure his fifth double-double in six games this season.
The victory marked HU’s fifth straight, improving the Foresters to 6-1 on the year. Johnson and the Foresters now turn their attention to league action, opening Crossroads League play on Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. road matchup at Spring Arbor.
