The Crossroads League has taken notice of RJ Anglin. The Huntington junior has been named the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week after turning in a dominant performance that powered the Foresters to a 12–1 win over Olivet Nazarene.

Anglin was electric on the mound, improving to 2–0 on the season after firing a six-inning gem. He struck out 11 batters, allowing just one run on two hits and two walks.

The week also showcased Anglin’s versatility. In Saturday’s nightcap against the Tigers, the junior stepped into new territory as a position player, earning his first two collegiate at-bats as Huntington’s center fielder. In just his second plate appearance, Anglin delivered an RBI single, adding offense to an already memorable weekend.

Anglin’s impact has been a key factor in Huntington’s strong start to the season, as the Foresters sit at 6–1 overall. He and the Foresters return to action next week with a four-game series at MidAmerica Nazarene in Kansas, scheduled for February 12–13.
