WOMEN’S TENNIS
The #RV Huntington women’s tennis team battled on the road Friday afternoon but came up just short in a 4–3 loss to Lawrence Tech at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield, Michigan.
In a tightly contested matchup, the Foresters competed point-for-point throughout the afternoon, winning the doubles point, before the Blue Devils secured the decisive fourth point in singles to clinch the team victory. With the loss, Huntington moves to 4–4 overall on the season. Despite the setback, the Foresters showed resilience in a match that came down to the final courts, highlighting the competitive balance within the lineup despite missing one of their top players in Addison Mast.
Huntington returns to action on February 21, traveling to Indianapolis to face an NCAA Division II opponent in IU Indianapolis.
