MEN’S TENNIS
The No. 17 Huntington men’s tennis team competed Saturday morning against No. 7 Holy Cross, falling 4–3, at the Eck Tennis Pavilion on the campus of Notre Dame. The Foresters battled throughout the lineup, with several closely contested matches keeping the outcome in doubt.
The deciding point came at No. 5 singles, where a competitive match was underway before Holy Cross clinched the team victory after nearly four hours of play. Despite the final score, Huntington showed resilience against one of the nation’s top-ranked opponents. With the loss, the Foresters drop to 5–2 on the season.
Huntington returns to action March 2nd when they travel to Bethel University in Tennessee for the Bethel Invitational. First serve is scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
