MEN’S BASKETBALL

Huntington sophomore Miles Good has been named to the Crossroads League Men’s Basketball Preseason First Team, the league announced Wednesday as part of its 2026-27 preseason honors and coaches’ poll.

Good is one of 10 players across the league selected to the preseason First Team after a breakout redshirt freshman campaign. He averaged 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game last season, earning Second Team All-Crossroads League recognition and a spot on the league’s All-Freshmen Team.

The Foresters were picked fourth in the preseason coaches’ poll, placing behind defending league champion Grace, Indiana Wesleyan and Taylor. Marian rounded out the top five.

Grace enters the season as the league favorite after posting a 31-4 overall record and a 15-3 mark in league play last winter.

Huntington is coming off a 22-9 campaign that included a 12-6 league record and a third-place finish in the Crossroads League standings. The Foresters also once again served as a host site for the NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship.

Huntington opens the 2026-27 season at home against Governors State on October 23. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
