Sophomore Magnolia Miller made history – again – at the Five Oaks Invite, breaking her own Huntington University 54-hole program record and earning All-Tournament Team recognition to cap the Foresters’ fall season at The Club at Five Oaks, hosted by Cumberland University.
Miller was the model of consistency across all three rounds on the par-73 layout, firing rounds of 75, 74, and 76 to finish in a tie for third place in a 42-golfer field. Her 6-over-par 225 bettered her previous 54-hole school mark while also earning her a spot on the event’s All-Tournament Team.
As a team, Huntington claimed fifth place out of seven teams with a three-round total of 991 (+115). The Foresters posted rounds of 327 (+35), 333 (+41), and 331 (+39).
Freshman Adrianna Combs was Huntington’s second finisher, placing 21st overall after turning in a 251 (+32) with rounds of 81, 83, and 87. Senior Riley Kitson was just one stroke back, securing a tie for 22nd with a 252 (+33) behind a consistent 87-83-82 effort.
Sophomore Aniyah Copeland carded an 84-93-87—264 (+45) to finish 27th, while senior Madelyn Weaver rebounded with a team-best improvement of 16 strokes between rounds two and three, firing an 86 in the final round to close at 95-102-86—283 (+64) in 33rd place.
