Philosophy Discussion Group

Hello HU Students,

I’m Dr. Tedla Woldeyohannes, and I’m  starting a philosophy discussion group for students who are interested in exploring philosophical questions outside of class. Those who have questions about God’s existence, experiencing some doubts about their belief in God, or those who want to learn more about how to deepen their understanding about God and God’s existence, you are invited to join this group. I’ll be happy to explore other topics such as on the nature of truth, the nature of morality, on human nature, etc. My area of specialty is in philosophy of religion and religious epistemology — on a topic that focuses on how we can know that there is a God.

You can email me to express your interest at twoldeyohannes@huntington.edu. I’m thinking about a meeting every other Friday from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. We can meet at the common area in front of my office (Loew-Brenn Hall, #223) or another venue, maybe in the HUB. Note that there is nothing more important to know than God. Come and ask why that is the case!
