Chapel 3/11 – Lisa Montany
This Thursday, Lisa Montany will share her message “Resting in Your Anxiety.” You can tune into the livestream on iAttended, or reserve a spot in person today.
Lisa has spent over a decade working in financial aid as both a director of financial aid and a financial aid counselor. Prior to her career in higher education, Lisa worked in various capacities as a mental health counselor in both Indiana and Texas. She holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology and literature and master’s degrees in both mental health counseling and industrial/organizational psychology. Her passion for working with and providing guidance to young adults led her to a career in financial aid that utilizes all aspects of her professional experience, interests, and educational background. Lisa currently serves as the director of financial aid at Huntington University. In her role, she oversees undergraduate, online, and graduate financial aid operations. She resides in Huntington County with her husband, Chris. When not working, reading, or spending time with her family, Lisa can be found perfecting a recipe in the kitchen, playing with her cat, Nigel, or spending time in her garden.
