HU senior Alex McCutcheon was tabbed the Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office earlier today.

McCutcheon stifled the Goshen offense in Friday night’s 6-0 win by firing a five-hit complete-game shutout for his fifth W of the year. The senior southpaw sat down ten of the 26 batters he faced on strikes and did not issue a walk in the seven-inning affair.

The Huntington North product currently holds five national rankings which includes claiming 20th in opponent batting average (.185), 22nd in hits allowed per nine (6.04), 36th in total runs allowed (14), 37th in earned run average (2.22) and 37th in total earned runs allowed (11).

The Foresters (24-8, 17-7) are sitting third in the league standings. Next up is a road trip to top-seeded Indiana Wesleyan on Friday.
