Job Openings at Joseph Decuis Farm

Joseph Decuis is a farm to fork operation raising food for our restaurants in Roanoke. Our farm is 6 miles north in Whitley County. We believe in sustainable agriculture and raising vegetables organically. We raise Wagyu cattle and heritage chickens for the eggs. Our horses are Percherons used for driving and we have some Mangalitsa pigs for production as well.

Needed is full- and part-time help on the farm. Care, feeding, chores for beef cattle, horses, egg-layers and hay production when needed and willing to learn to drive tractor & skid loader. Pay commensurate with experience. Flexible schedule working around a school classes; must be willing to work weekends and some holidays. Experience with animals a plus.

Part-time help is also needed through fall to help with vegetable gardens and production.
