Huntington junior Haile Stutzman not only paired up with Elijah Chesterman to win Manchester’s Hokum Karem last week but clocked the fastest mile of the day to be named the Crossroads League Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced earlier today.

It was Stutzman’s first loop of 4:32 that proved the fastest mile of the meet. He went on to post a time of 19:03 for his four miles. As a duo, he and Chesterman turned in a 38:38 for their eight miles for a 4:50 per mile pace.

Next up for HU is the IWU Twilight Invitational on Friday at 6:15 p.m.
