The Music That Shaped America
HU faculty, students, and the Huntington community are invited to a FREE concert of American popular music from the 20th century performed by the new HU show choir Singsation! (also featuring the HU Concert Choir and Singsation Band), in Zurcher Auditorium, Wednesday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m.
Music will include songs by Cole Porter, Gershwin and Cohan, ’50s rock and roll, Motown, Earth, Wind and Fire, as well as iconic dances from the ’80s like Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” and the movie Footloose. You won’t want to miss this fun night of music!
