HU pitcher Camden Dice was dominant on the bump in his team’s 3-2 win over Indiana Wesleyan Friday afternoon at Wildcat Field and for his efforts was tabbed the Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week as announced by the league office earlier today.
Dice pitched a nine-inning gem, fanning nine and allowing only two runs, five hits and a walk for the complete-game win. The Clare (Mich.) native scattered a mere two hits and was sitting on a shutout through the first eight frames before giving up both runs on three hits in the ninth.
The Foresters (17-13) are currently third in the CL standings with a league record of 15-7. Frame and crew are slated to host Marian for a doubleheader tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
