OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD

For the second straight week and fourth time this spring, Huntington senior Dylan Felger has been named the Crossroads League Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office yesterday afternoon.

Felger has had an incredible spring with his continued dominance evident this past weekend. The Ossian native competed at two different meets. On Friday at Ohio State’s Jesse Owens Track Classic, he took first in the 400 meters hurdles. His time of 51.05 was not only an A standard but is tops in the NAIA this season and a new school record.

The speedster followed up that performance by winning the 200 meters on Saturday at the Little State Championships. He clocked in at 21.26 to earn a second A standard and set another HU record.

The Foresters are back in action for the Lancer Invitational on Friday.
