Chapel 9/22 – Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Week

We are pleased to invite Lenys M. Martí­nez Ortiz to be our chapel speaker for National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Week! This Tuesday and Thursday, you can find her messages on iAttended.

Lenys was born in Ponce, PR. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice with a specialty in investigations from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico, Ponce Campus and a master’s degree in Theology from the Abundant Life Theological University, Inc. She serves as a mentor pastor and advisor to the “Perlas Enlazadas en el Proposito” (Pearls Joined in the Purpose) Ministry in Yauco, PR. She is the author of to books named “El perfil de un paciente psiquiatrico a la manera de Dios” y “Entre risas y llanto.” The first one is in process for the English version, named “The profile of a psychiatric patient through God’s eyes,” coming soon.  She has moderated and produced radio programs with a transforming word of God. Lenys is married to Angel L. Ruiz Pérez, and together they founded Rotem Ministries, a nonprofit corporation to give aid to families. Both are associate pastors of the Iglesia Centro Cristiano Vida Abundante de Juana Díaz PR and chaplains of C.A.V.A. They currently reside in the state of Indiana, where they were sent by God for a great commission.
