MEN’S GOLF

The Forester men’s golf program spent the day at Rock Hollow Golf Club on Monday to compete in the April Fools’ Day Classic where they finished seventh of eight teams with a 33-over-par 321.

Peyton Richmond lost in a playoff for medalist honors. His second place score of 71 earned him All-Tournament Team praises. He finished one under par and  posted 11 pars and four birdies along the way.

Colby Martin and Brenner Lampton both fired an 83 to share 29th place out of 47 golfers. Mitchell Wilson came in next for Dwyer’s crew with an 84 for 36th place while Kaleb Ketchum rounded out Huntington’s scores with an 85 for 38th place.

Bethel, the host of the tourney, topped the leaderboard with a 299 followed by Grace (305), Saint Francis (307), Aquinas (311), Holy Cross (315), Indiana Tech (318), HU (321) and Bethel B (333).

Next up for Dwyer and crew is a JV tourney hosted by IWU on April 11.
